  3. my parents are splitting up right now…

    it’s been really crazy in my house lately. like, that’s all my mom talks about anymore. and she’s constantly talking on the phone to people about it, so i barely know anything that’s going on. it was almost their 22nd anniversary, so i’m really surprised it’s happening. i guess my dad told my mom on the phone last night, the only reason he stayed with her was to raise me and my sister.

    My mom is thinking about moving to an apartment about 25 minutes away with me. my dad was going to let her keep the house, but she doesn’t know how to fix problems that may happen, so she decided she would rather be out on her own.

    I guess they’re not technically getting a “divorce” either. Just a legal seperation. It’s pretty much the same thing, just that they’re still technically married, but they don’t have to live wtih each other or whatever. My dad wanted to do that so my mom could still get his insurance since she doesn’t have a job and hasnt’ for over 20 years.

    i’m not really very upset, just shocked. i kind of knew it would eventually happen since the only reason they got married was because my mom was pregnant. but, i didn’t even know they were fighting a lot or anything. suddenly yesterday, my mom just told me that her and my dad weren’t going to be together anymore.

    I doubt anyone actually read this, but if you did, thanks. I just kinda wanted to let this all out. I only told my best friend about this, although I’m sure everyone will find out about it soon enough. Not like it’s uncommon or anything. But whatever, I’m done rambling. Goodbye, (:
